I started doing that a couple of years ago, and started crocheting the "plarn" (plastic yarn) into a bag. But then we started using the plastic grocery bags for garbage, so I don't have any extras anymore!
This is my latest or newest project. I am taking grocery bags & cutting them into strips & then knitting the "yarn" into bags.
