I have a new pattern for a Sedona skirt. It is made with 5 upper pieces & 5 lower pieces that are fuller. It didn't have a pocket so on the first one I made I just put a pocket in one seam & called it as side seam. But I found I missed having two pockets. So then I figured if I used smaller pattern pieces & then made 6 of them I would have two side seams & could have two pockets. That is what I did for this skirt.
