This is a new annual thing we do with the grand kids that live near us. This is the second year of doing it. Last year we used graham crackers & it was hard to get them to stick together. This year after Halloween we found gingerbread houses made up already, they are actually chocolate favored. So we used that to make our Christmas ones just didn't use the candies & etc that came with them but got Christmas colored candies. The first pictures are of the Dempsey grand kids work on them & the finished product. William gave up on it as he wasn't feeling good. The picture is just as he gave up & I could not get him to smile & look at it.

Fun! I have not tried doing gingerbread houses with our kids. One year a friend up in Marquette had them over and made gingerbread houses, so that was fun.
I bet the chocolate houses will taste better... :)
I didn't realize they were chocolate! Maybe I will try some of the house then!!
